Monochrome?

This is one of 100 paintings I did while participating in The 100 Day Project from February to May, 2024. The painting is based on a photo I took while on my daily walk in the Mojave Desert where I live. This one is called Monochrome? because some people think the desert is all one color, but when you really look at it there are lots of subtle color shifts as this painting shows.

This is an original 6 7/8 x 4 7/8" painting done in oils on unstretched canvas with a 3/4" border.
