Overlooker II

This is one of 100 paintings I did while participating in The 100 Day Project from February to May, 2024. This painting is based on a photo I took on my morning walks in the Mojave Desert.  It is called Overlooker II for the Joshua Tree that overlooks the valley below. I have painted this tree before, hence the II after the title.

This is an original 7 1/2 X 9 1/2" gouache painting on paper. The work is unmatted and has a 1/2" border around it.
